Data Protection Officer
Since 1 June 2025, data users must appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO) under the Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2024. Our DPO is Nurul Aisyah binti Rahman, reachable at info@stack-spectrum.digital or +60-3-0000-1705.
What we collect
- Inquiry form: name, email, optional phone number, and message text you submit voluntarily.
- Cookie preference: a value stored in your browser (localStorage) recording whether you accepted or rejected the cookie notice. No analytics cookies are used.
We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking on this site.
Purposes and legal basis
We process inquiry data to respond to your request, prepare proposals, and maintain records of commercial correspondence. Processing is based on your consent when you submit the form and on our legitimate interest in operating our consulting business.
Disclosure
We do not sell personal data. Inquiry content may be accessed by our consultants and secure email hosting used to reply to you. We do not transfer data outside Malaysia unless you ask us to use a specific platform and consent to that transfer.
Retention
Inquiry records are kept for up to twenty-four months after the last meaningful correspondence unless a longer period is required for contracts, tax, or disputes.
Security
We use TLS for site transport, restrict access to inquiry mailboxes, and review access periodically. No method is perfectly secure; please avoid sending passwords or full payment card numbers through the form.
Your rights
Under the PDPA (as amended), you may request access to and correction of your personal data, withdraw consent where applicable, and — where in force — request data portability for data you provided with consent. Contact the DPO to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commissioner of Malaysia.
Data breach notification
If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Commissioner as soon as practicable where required under section 12B of the amended Act, and notify affected individuals when significant harm is likely.
