This page describes how we package programming consulting work so procurement and engineering leads can compare options before signing a statement of work.
Discovery sprint (1–2 weeks)
We interview stakeholders, review existing repositories, and produce an architecture options memo with risk notes for hosting, licensing, and data protection. Output includes a recommended scope for either a build phase or an advisory-only path.
Build phase (milestone-based)
Milestones map to demonstrable capabilities: authenticated admin, public catalog, checkout flow, or reporting module — whichever your product requires. Each milestone ends with a review demo and updated runbooks. Code lands in your version control; we do not withhold source.
Hypercare window
After go-live, a short hypercare period covers defect fixes tied to the agreed acceptance tests. Enhancements outside that list return to change control.
Advisory retainer
Monthly blocks cover architecture office hours, dependency upgrade planning, and incident post-mortems. Hours do not roll into body-shop staffing; they are consumed against agreed agenda items you submit in advance.
When we decline
We are not the right fit for vanity sites without engineering ownership, cryptocurrency schemes, or projects that require misrepresenting credentials we have not verified.
